Truck carrying crane hits overpass and car on Lincoln Alexander Parkway

Hamilton police closed a portion of Lincoln Alexander Parkway Monday morning after a transport truck carrying a crane hit an overpass, detached, and hit a car.

Police say a woman in her late-60s was taken to a local trauma centre with injuries that appear to non-life threatening.

The eastbound parkway is reduced to one lane between Upper Wentworth Street and Upper Gage Avenue and the Upper Sherman Avenue overpass has since been reopened.
