Milton man arrested after Georgetown break-in

Halton police say a man has been arrested in connection with a break and enter in Georgetown.

On May 8 at around 2:35 p.m., police say they responded to an address in the area of Robinson Road and Bowman Street for a report of a man who had broken into a residential garage.

The man fled the scene in a white Ford F150 after being confronted by the home owner.

Officers located the man’s vehicle, however he drove off in a “dangerous manner.”

Police say the man drove to the Toronto Prime Outlets located at 13850 Steeles Avenue West in Halton Hills. The man struck five vehicles there before abandoning the truck and fleeing on foot.

Officers located the man and arrested him in a nearby field by K9 and Tactical officers. The truck being driven by the man had been reported stolen from Toronto. No civilian injuries were reported as a result of the incident.

Halton police have arrest 37-year-old Adrian Gembal of Milton and charged him with multiple offences including break and enter, dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, assault with intent to resist arrest and more.
