Brantford man charged after police seize over $171K of illegal drugs

Brantford police have arrested and charged a man after seizing over $171,000 worth of illegal drugs.

Members of the Tactical Intelligence Generating Enforcement and Response Unit completed the drug trafficking investigation Wednesday.

Officers executed a search warrant at addresses on Colborne and Market streets.

As a result, police arrested a 43-year-old man and found multiple illicit drugs such as fentanyl, methamphetamine and xanax.

Matthew Taylor of Brantford faces five different charges and has been held for bail.
