Hamilton police searching for ‘multiple suspects’ in east end shooting

Police are searching for multiple suspects involved in an early morning shooting in Hamilton’s east end on Monday.

Hamilton police released security camera footage of several suspects fleeing the area of 44 Martha St. after the incident.

Officers were called around 3:30 a.m. on April 18 to the townhouse complex where they found bullet holes in one of the units.

One person suffered minor injuries from broken glass, police said.

Detectives from the division two criminal investigation branch are investigating. They are asking people in the area to check dash camera footage and security cameras between 2 and 4 a.m. on Monday.
