Russian forces continue attacks striking western Ukraine near the Polish border

Ukrainian officials are still holding out hope that more people will be rescued from the ruins of a theatre in Mariupol.

It was being used as a shelter, when it was hit by a Russian air strike.

This, while Russian forces turn their attention to a city in Western Ukraine not far from the Polish border.
