Hamilton police look to identify Westdale break and enter suspect

Hamilton police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a break and enter suspect.

Investigators said a man entered a student house located on Broadway Ave., between Sussex and Main Street West without consent on Monday night.

Someone who lives in the home heard the sound of the front door and found the man inside, who then left the area.

Police describe the male suspect as having a medium build and wearing a black hooded jacket, blue jeans, black shoes and a backpack.

Investigators are asking witnesses or anyone with surveillance footage in the area to contact them at 905-546-4725 or Crime Stoppers.
