St. Catharines man charged in death of pedestrian: Niagara police

Niagara police have charged a St. Catharines man nearly seven months after a collision that claimed the life of a 41-year-old man.

Cody Sullivan, 28, faces one count of dangerous operation causing death.

On the evening of Jul. 11, 2021, police responded to reports that a person had been struck by a vehicle on Irving Rd. in Niagara-on-the-Lake.

Police located a 41-year-old man who had been struck by a Toyota Corolla.

The driver of the Corolla remained at the scene.

The victim was transported to hospital where he later died.

Sullivan is expected to appear in court on April 13.
