Cancellations and closures for Friday, Feb. 4, 2022

Transportation has been cancelled again for many school boards in the Golden Horseshoe Area.

Here is a list of closures:

Hamilton-Wentworth District School Board: Schools and child care centres are closed for today. E-learning is cancelled. Administrative buildings are closed and transportation is not running.

Hamilton-Wentworth Catholic District School Board: All transportation is cancelled. However, schools are OPEN today.

District School Board of Niagara: All transportation for is cancelled. However, schools are OPEN today.

Niagara Catholic District School Board: All transportation is cancelled. However, schools are OPEN today.

Grand Erie District School Board: All Grand Erie schools are closed and buses are cancelled today because of inclement weather. Optional asynchronous learning will be available.

Brant Haldimand Norfolk Catholic District School Board: Schools are closed. Students will have asynchronous learning activities posted on Brightspace class pages.

YWCA Hamilton: All child care centres in Hamilton and Dunnville, as well as our before and after school programs, are closed today.

YMCA Child Care Centres: Brantford centres are closed. Burlington centres are open. Centres located within Hamilton-Wentworth District School Board schools are closed including Queen Victoria, Chedoke, Spring Valley, and Sir William Osler.

Niagara Children’s Centre School Authority: Closed today due to the inclement weather.

Providence Christian School: School is closed.

Calvin Christian School: Schools in Hamilton and Caledonia are closed today.
