Closures and cancellations for Thursday, Feb. 3, 2022

A snowfall warning is in effect for parts of Southern Ontario. The snowfall has prompted some cancellations in our region.

Here is a list of closures:

Hamilton-Wentworth District School Board: All Hamilton-Wentworth District schools, child care and e-learning is cancelled for today. Administrative buildings are closed and transportation is not running.

District School Board of Niagara: All transportation for Niagara District schools is cancelled. However, schools are OPEN today.

Niagara Catholic District School Board: All transportation for Niagara District Catholic schools is cancelled. However, schools are OPEN today.

Grand Erie District School Board: All Grand Erie schools and buses are closed today because of inclement weather. Asynchronous learning will be available.

Brant Haldimand Norfolk Catholic District School Board: Schools are closed. Today is a PD day for secondary students, no work will be posted online. Elementary students will have asynchronous learning activities posted on Brightspace class pages.

YMCA Child Care: All YMCA Child Care centres are closed in Brantford. YMCA Full Day child care centres located in Hamilton schools are closed.
