Lincoln Leapers celebrate 40 years of competitive jump rope

The Lincoln Leapers are one of the originals when it comes to competitive jump roping.

They compete in a variety of speed and freestyle events using both single and double-dutch ropes. There is usually 3-4 events per year- Regionals, Provincials and Nationals and some years there is Worlds.

This year the Lincoln Leapers are celebrating 40 years and will be having a celebration on June 11th from 10am-2pm at the Fleming Centre Arena in Beamsville.

Tim Bolen tried out for the team, but unfortunately, it doesn’t look like he will be going to the Worlds next year.
