Beautifying the city of Hamilton with flowers grown in the Gage Park Greenhouse
It’s the the season to be in the garden and beds planting blooms for what will be beautiful summer season ahead. The same can be said for the City of Hamilton as they are busy little bees planting on flowers on traffic islands and circles from the Gage Park Greenhouse.
Tim Bolen spent the morning around the city with the superintendent of Forestry and Horticulture, Marcia Monaghan, to learn how they prepare for the season and decide where to plant.
