Police are investigating the identity of human remains found in West Lincoln Wednesday afternoon and the person’s cause of death.
Officers responded to a call at a home in the area of Young Street and South Grimsby Road 6 where someone found a jawbone.
Investigators say they found more remains along with clothing all belonging to one person soon after.
Police say they will continue to investigate with the assistance of the forensics unit and a forensic anthropologist to determine the bones’ identity and the person’s cause of death.
Officers told CHCH News that the death is not considered to be suspicious.
