Milton high school lockdown lifted, police conclude investigation

Halton police say a lockdown order at a school in Milton has been lifted.

According to a post on X, Milton District High School went into lockdown mode on Thursday afternoon for a police investigation.

The post said officers were on site at the school. There were no reports of injuries.

Halton officials asked the public to avoid the area while they investigated.

A later post from Halton police said the lockdown had been lifted, and no arrests had been made.

No further details have been released by police at this time.
