Hamilton police ask public to check cameras after morning shooting

Hamilton Police are asking residents around Garth Street and Garrow Drive to check their security cameras following an early Sunday morning shooting.

Residents are asked to check their home cameras or any dashcam footage between the hours of 4 a.m. and 5 a.m. on September 15 for any suspicious activity. This includes those living in the neighbourhoods of Gourley and Gilkson.

Police arrived at the scene of the incident around 4:30 a.m. and secured and searched the area. While they were able to confirm that shots were fired no suspects were found.
