Jean’s Flower Shop handing out 800 dozen roses to celebrate ‘Good Neighbour Day’

First Published:

Today is Good Neighbour Day and Jean’s Flower Shop is continuing their tradition of giving away dozens of roses to mark the day.

The shop on Upper Wellington opened at 7am and before the day is over they will have handed out about 800 dozen roses.

The idea for the day is you get a dozen roses for free, keep one for yourself and hand out the rest. Many people got flowers to hand out to their friends, neighbours, patients and more.

The flowers are available while supplies last.
