Two people have been arrested after police seized illegal weapons while carrying out a search warrant at a home in Mount Hope on Tuesday.

Officers executed a search warrant at the home where they say they found cocaine, evidence of drug trafficking, a large amount Canadian cash, a loaded .40 calibre handgun and another weapon.

Investigators have arrested 31-year-old Daniel Hickling and 29-year-old Aaliyah Sousa and have been charged with offenses involved with possession of drugs and weapons.

Anyone with information or evidence regarding this investigation are asked to contact police.
