Hamilton police lay charges in joint carjacking, robbery investigation

Police say they have charged an individual following a joint investigation into a series of violent armed carjackings and pharmacy robberies throughout Hamilton.

Last fall, Hamilton police joined a provincial carjacking task force unit to investigate crimes occurring between October and December.

On Wednesday, officials announced Laszlo Mihalovics had been charged in relation to these incidents. He remains in custody having been charged in a previous investigation.

Officers are now looking to identify any additional suspects who may have been involved with Mihalovics.
