A listeria outbreak involving almond milk and similar plant-based drinks has now killed two people.
Earlier this month, a recall was issued for Silk brand almond milk, coconut milk, almond-coconut milk and oat milk, along with Great Value brand almond milk.
Most of the recalled products have best-before dates up to and including Oct. 4.
The Public Health Agency of Canada has not yet provided details of the deaths linked to the outbreak, but says there have been 12 lab-confirmed cases.
Ten of those cases are in Ontario, with one each in Quebec and Nova Scotia.
