Hamilton police investigate suspicious Upper James Street death

Police are currently looking into a suspicious death that took place on Upper James Street on Saturday.

A man’s body was found in a field behind the property at 1462 Upper James St.

The man is from Hamilton but his name has not been released.

His family has been notified of his death.

Officers say the man’s autopsy was conducted Tuesday but the cause of death is unclear.

Police will continue to monitor the area for the next few days as they look into the circumstances surrounding his death.
