Sneak peek at our Fall 2024 programming at CHCH TV

First Published:

Advertisers were in downtown Toronto Thursday afternoon as CHCH and other independent stations from across the country took part in the indieNET’s 2024 Upfronts to preview their fall programming.

CHCH is one of six stations across the country that make up indieNET. Joining YES TV in Calgary, Edmonton and Ontario, CHEK TV in Vancouver and Victoria and NTV on the east coast, which together cover 94 per cent of Canada.

One of Canada’s top stand up comedians Naomi Snieckus, best known recently for her role as Bobbi Galka on Mr. D provided the entertainment for the crowd assembled at Chef’s Hall.

Snieckus says having worked in Canadian TV she understands the strength of six stations coming together as one.

Among the highlights announced include returning favourites like America’s Funniest Home Videos and 20/20 as well as the return of the popular animation domination block featuring the longest running animated comedy in TV history, The Simpsons.

Also back are prime time blockbuster movies and retro daytime fan favourites with classics like I Dream of Jeannie, The Lucy Show, and The Love Boat.

Meanwhile, all new to CHCH this fall is the UK version of Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy making their Canadian debut.

Of course you can always count on CHCH Evening News, Trending Now and Morning Live and this year as well marks a huge celebration with our 70th anniversary programming that will be featured all year long beginning next week.
