Out-of-control Bentley driver finds themselves parked at Hamilton police station

The driver of a Bentley found themselves parking in the wrong spot at the wrong time early Wednesday morning when they lost control and managed to steer into the lot at Hamilton police’s east end station.

Police say they saw the vehicle driving erratically shortly before 4 a.m. on King Street at Nash Road.

The vehicle reportedly hit a curb, which caused significant damage to the front left tire and wheel well.

Police say the driver then weaved through the trees on the front lawn of the police station located at 2825 King Street East, before going down the ramp into the rear parking lot of the station.

The driver of the Bentley managed to steer the damaged vehicle into a parking spot without making contact with any police cruisers.

Officers converged on the vehicle and found drug paraphernalia inside. The driver was subsequently arrested for impaired operation.
