Driver hospitalized following 3 vehicle crash on Highway 24

One person has been taken to hospital with serious injuries following a three-vehicle crash in Brant County.

Provincial police say they first received a report about a three-vehicle crash on Highway 24 shortly after 7 a.m. on Monday.

One of the drivers was found with serious injuries and was taken to hospital.

The ensuing investigation into the collision has shuttered part of the roadway between Glen Morris Road East and Locke Road.

Police say a 25-year-old from Dundalk has been charged with careless driving.

Police are now seeking witnesses or dashcam footage.

“If anyone was driving in the area at the time and has dash cam footage or may have witnessed the collision, please contact the OPP at 1-888-310-1122,” reads the latest report from police.
