Hamilton police investigating after shots fired into east end home

Hamilton police are investigating after shots were reportedly fired into a home in the city’s east end on Tuesday evening.

Officers say they were called to the home in the area of Beach Boulevard and Wickham Avenue for reports of shots having been fired.

Upon arrival police say they were able to confirm that a shooting incident had occurred.

There were no injuries reported in connection with the incident that is believed to have been targeted.

Investigators are requesting that residents in the area check all surveillance and dash camera footage for any suspicious activity between the hours of 6 and 7 p.m.
