No arrests thus far after Halton police recover 7 stolen vehicles

An investigation led by Halton police has led to the recovery of seven stolen vehicles as the search for those a part of an organized car theft network continues.

On Friday, officers executed a search warrant at a shipping business in Orangeville where five vehicles were recovered.

Police additionally found two stolen vehicles in Newmarket which they say are related to this investigation.

At this time, no arrests have been made in the organized theft ring investigators believe to be operating in the GTA.

Anyone with information that could aid in this investigation is asked to contact the Regional Auto Theft Task Force at 905-825-4777 ext. 3407.
