Hamilton man, 59, charged with human trafficking

Hamilton police have arrested a 59-year-old man in connection with multiple human trafficking-related offences.

Police investigated a report of a sexual assault that occurred between November 2022 and February 2023, resulting in the arrest of the man.

Officers say there may be additional victims as the suspect would target vulnerable youth and take them away in a grey car.

Gary Leblanc of Hamilton is currently facing charges for trafficking people under the age of 18, procuring people under the age of 18 and sexual assault, among others.
