It’s a parent’s worst nightmare -your child is sick. It all becomes a whirlwind of hospital visits and treatment, and if you need to go to another city for that treatment the stress can treble. That is what happened to the family of young Karsen Brouilette when they left their northern Ontario home to move to Hamilton’s Ronald McDonald House, where they got the support they needed.
