Brewing in Burlington

Nickel Brook Brewing Company has evolved tremendously over the years.  Its started back in 1991 as the Better Bitters Brewing Company by Johnny Romano as a hobby.  Then in 2005 he and his brother Peter began Nickel Brook, named after John’s kids Nicolas and Brooke.  Last summer the operation became much bigger when they started brewing their beer at the old Lakeport facility alongside Collective Arts, something they call Arts and Science.
