Thieves steal several chainsaws during break in at Hamilton Canadian Tire

First Published:

Hamilton police are investigating an overnight break and enter at a Canadian Tire.

It happened around 11:15 p.m. Thursday at the Centre Mall location on Barton St. East.

Police say someone pried open the rear door and stole chainsaws while inside.

The Hamilton police K9 Unit was called in to search the area. They located a Mastercraft Workbench that investigators believe the thieves left behind while fleeing the scene. Police also found a blue ski mask but did not locate any suspects.
