Faith Clarke Simms isn’t just trying to break a record. She’s doing it after a head to toe transformation.
In June, Clarke Simms will attempt to pull the heaviest aircraft any woman ever has.
The thing is, four years ago, she couldn’t even support her own body weight.
On Thursday, she harnessed herself to a 19,000 pound aircraft at the Canadian Warplane Heritage museum to practise for a world record attempt.
Clarke Simms and her team from Cornell Performance Academy are planning to keep practising and tweaking their towing system before the June 20th pull at the Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum.
They’re also busy fundraising for the Hamilton Dream Centre.
