Bosma’s truck found in Kleinburg

First Published:

Tim Bosma of Ancaster is still missing, but the truck he was selling has been recovered in Kleinburg, north of Toronto.

Bosma disappeared after taking the truck – and two men interested in buying it – out for a drive a week ago tonight. The truck was found inside a large black trailer, parked in the driveway of the mother of a suspect arrested on the weekend.

Dellen Millard, 27, is charged with forcible confinement and theft in connection with Bosma’s disappearance. Police opened the trailer yesterday afternoon and it contained the black 2007 Dodge Ram 3500 pick up they’ve been looking for. Neighbours haven’t seen the homeowner and her son in the last few days.

One neighbour says he saw the trailer arrive in the driveway Wednesday night.

The search for Tim Bosma has led investigators to the Waterloo International Airport where Hamilton police have been stationed since Saturday. Officers have received a search warrant to enter hangar 53, which belongs to Millard Air, a family-run charter airline.

Millard comes from an aviation family and in 1999 broke the world record for youngest person to solo-pilot a helicopter or plane at the age of 14.

Police have already searched Millard’s home in Etobicoke where he lived with his father who passed away six months ago.

A second person at large, described as white with dark hair standing anywhere between 5’9-5’10 with a small to medium build and seen wearing a red hooded sweathshirt.

Police have set up a special tip line for anyone with information on Tim Bosma: 905-546-2100. They can also submit a tip to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).
