Hamilton man arrested for drug trafficking in downtown core

Hamilton police have arrested a 25-year-old man for drug trafficking in the city’s downtown core.

On Saturday, officers were conducting patrols near city hall when they saw a man make multiple hand-to-hand drug transactions.

Authorities have not disclosed the man’s name, but have charged him with the following:

  • Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking – Fentanyl
  • Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking – Hydromorphone
  • Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking – Oxycodone
  • Proceeds of Crime Under $5,000
  • Fail to Comply Probation
