Police report missing Hamilton woman found dead in St. Catharines

Hamilton police said Friday evening that the 39-year-old Hamilton woman that was missing since Monday was found dead in St. Catharines.

Officers had asked the public to help find Nicole Wylie, who was last seen near Woodward Avenue in Hamilton’s east end around 7 p.m. Monday.

Detectives posted on X just after 5 p.m. Friday that Wylie was found dead in St. Catharines.

Sadly, missing person Nicole Wylie was located deceased in St.Catharines. We thank the public for assistance in helping to locate her. Our condolences to her friends and family on their loss.

Investigators are thanking the public for helping to find Wylie.
