Two men wanted in connection with St. Catharines home invasion

Niagara police are looking for two men involved in a violent late-night home invasion that occurred on April 16 in St. Catharines.

Officers say the robbery happened at a residence in the area of Ball Avenue East and Merritt Street shortly after 11 p.m.

Investigators report that a man was woken up and assaulted by two armed men in his home, leaving him with minor injuries.

Police say the men managed to steal cash and credit cards.

The identities of the two men are currently unknown.

Authorities are asking residents and business owners who were in the area between 10 and 11:45 p.m. to review their security footage and contact police at 905-688-4111, option 3, ext. 1009703 if relevant information is found.
