Man wanted after Tuesday night stabbing at J.C. Beemer Park

Hamilton police are investigating a stabbing at J.C. Beemer Park Tuesday night that left one man with non-life-threatening injuries.

A 50-year-old Hamilton man was found at his shelter and reported to police that he had been stabbed at the park around 11:30 p.m.

He suffered non-life-threatening injuries to his lung.

Officers say the victim did not know the suspect.

Authorities describe the suspect as a man in his late 30s to early 40s, wearing camouflage pants with large pockets and a jacket with a shiny diamond emblem.

Investigators say he had a service dog.

At this time, no weapons have been recovered.
