Hamilton police arrest 33-year-old woman for drug trafficking

Hamilton police have arrested a woman for drug trafficking after stopping her for trespassing Saturday afternoon.
Officers observed a 33-year-old woman trespassing on a property near York Boulevard and Park Street North around 4 p.m.
Authorities searched her belongings and found 6 grams of fentanyl, 32.50 grams of crack cocaine, a working digital scale, and Canadian currency consistent with drug trafficking.
The woman was also found to be violating conditions of a release order.
The woman was charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking fentanyl and cocaine, proceeds of a crime under $5,000, and failure to comply with probation.
