French President Emanuel Macron met with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy in Paris Wednesday, ahead of a conference for peace and security in Ukraine.

More than a dozen heads of states and governments of France’s ally countries are set to attend the talks Thursday.

This comes after Ukraine and Russia’s truce agreements on a planned ceasefire in the black sea ran into trouble within hours on Tuesday.
