St. Catharines rolls out $15 beach parking permits ahead of summer

St. Catharines residents can now apply for beach parking permits ahead of the summer season.

For $15 per vehicle, permit holders can park at Lakeside Park Beach and Sunset Beach without paying hourly or daily parking rates.

The permits are valid from May 1 until Sept. 30.

Interested drivers can apply online via the HotSpot Parking website, on the mobile app or in person at City Hall.

Applicants will need to provide proof of St. Catharines residency such as a driver’s license or utility bill, and proof of vehicle ownership.
