Police arrest a man connected to Six Nations arson investigation

Six Nations Police Services and OPP say they have arrested a man from Mississauga Wednesday connected to an arson investigation.

Officers say they responded to a structure fire at around 2:20 a.m., on Sunday on Third Line Road in Ohsweken, in the Six Nations of the Grand River First Nation.

Investigators determined that a structure was intentionally set on fire, which caused minor exterior damage to the building.

No one was reported injured.

Detectives arrested 24-year-old Daryoush Khosravi from Mississauga on Wednesday at a location on Fourth Line in Ohsweken.

Khosravi has been charged with arson and mischief under $5,000.

They have been held in custody and is scheduled to appear at a Brantford courthouse Thursday.
