Grand Erie Public Health advises four new measles exposure locations

Grand Erie Public Health (GEPH) is advising community members of four new measles exposure locations within the region.
GEPH is investigating and following up on known contacts and exposures within the region, which includes Haldimand County, Norfolk County, Brantford and Brant.
They say exposure to the measles virus may have happened at the following locations:
Blue Elephant at 96 Norfolk St. South in Simcoe, on Feb. 19, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Dover Dental at 18 Chapman St. East in Port Dover, on Feb. 21, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Flux Brewery at 185 Oakland Rd. in Scotland, Ont., on Feb. 21, from 6:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.
Norfolk General Hospital Emergency Department at 365 West St. on Feb. 26, from 6:15 a.m. to 8:30 a.m.
Anyone who believes they were at these locations during these times, were born in 1970 or later and are not up-to-date with their vaccinations are asked to contact their primary healthcare provider or to call public health.
