Halton police investigate Mapleview Mall jewelry store robbery

Halton police says they are investigating after a jewelry store in Mapleview Mall was robbed Saturday afternoon.

Officers told CHCH News that they responded to a call at the Burlington mall for a smash-and-grab robbery at the Charm Diamond Centre jewelry store.

Investigators say multiple suspects wearing face coverings smashed display cases at the jewelry store at around 4:30 p.m. before fleeing the store.

Police say no one was reported to be injured. They also say no arrests have been made.

Halton police told CHCH News that an investigation is active and ongoing.
