Calls for Trudeau to re-evaluate following Freeland’s departure

Freeland’s departure has triggered a new round of calls for Trudeau to take a closer look at his own political future as Prime Minister and leader of the Liberal Party.

A handful of opposition members are urging quicker action and calling for an election to ensure a new parliament is in place to deal with the incoming administration of Donald Trump, who has now chimed in on the Freeland saga.
