Niagara police have arrested a 52-year-old man Monday morning connected to a child abuse investigation in the City of Niagara Falls.

Officers say they began an investigation earlier this month regarding the alleged sexual assault of a male teenager.

Detectives say a 52-year-old man allegedly sexually assaulted the teen in the City of Niagara Falls between May and November.

Police arrested Todd Douglas Williston from Niagara Falls who is being charged with two counts of making sexually explicit material available to a youth, and offences surrounding sexual assault of a youth.

Williston was held in custody pending a video bail hearing to a St. Catharines courthouse Monday.

Investigators say Williston is employed as a school bus driver in Niagara Falls and has been a school bus driver for nearly four years. Officers say they do not have evidence that an offence has occurred directly related to his school bus duties.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police, as detectives have reason to suspect there may be more victims.
