NATO marks 75th anniversary

The North Atlantic Treaty Organization, commonly known as “NATO,” is marking the 75th anniversary of the day its founding treaty was signed.

But, the milestone comes as Russia’s war on Ukraine puts a strain on the alliance.

And that tension may just escalate after the U.S. Secretary of State made a provocative comment today insisting that Ukraine will join the alliance.

This as the Kremlin declared that Russia and NATO are now in ‘direct confrontation.’
