Annual BRIGHT Run for breast cancer research hopes to raise enough to reach a $6M, 17 year total

The 17th Annual BRIGHT Run is set to take place September 7th at the Christie Lake Conservation Area. The BRIGHT Run is a family friendly 1km/5km walk or run in support of breast cancer research.

This year, event chair Nancy McMillan says they are hoping to raise enough money to surpass their $417,000 goal and bring the 17 year total close to $6 million, which means fundraising has to begin now. To support a runner or create your own team, head to www.brightrun.ca.
