If you hit the pumps and filled up your gas tanks on Saturday, you already know that prices soared from Friday at the pumps.

Prices at many Hamilton gas stations have hit over $1.41 a litre.

Friday, gas was closer to $1.36-$1.39 a litre.

The increase is being blamed on conflicts in Iraq and worries over global oil supplies.

Oil has hit its highest close in 10 months at just under $107.00(US) a barrel.
