Calls escalate for UN-led humanitarian ceasefire in Gaza

Officials with the United Nations are reporting that there are no safe place left as Israeli military strikes continue in southern Gaza.

Israel says it has attacked dozens of targets as it continues to battle Hamas militants in Gaza’s largest cities.

The IDF has now released an image of senior Hamas officials they claim to have killed in the military operation.

Many Palestinians have already been displaced and now new military evacuation orders are squeezing people into even smaller areas.

Meanwhile, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu threatened to flatten parts of Lebanon should the Hezbollah militant group escalate its attacks on Israeli targets.

Following the death of an Israeli farmer from an anti-tank missile fired from Lebanon, the military said it had struck Hezbollah infrastructure in response.

Arab and Islamic nations are calling for a vote tomorrow to draft a UN Security Council resolution that would demand a humanitarian ceasefire.
