It’s the National Day of Remembrance and Action on Violence Against Women.
Its’s held every year on the anniversary of the 1989 École Polytechnique massacre, and this year the day comes as disturbing evidence is emerging of alleged sexual violence perpetrated by Hamas during the October 7th attack in Israel.
