Man wanted on Canada-wide warrant after Mississauga gas station murder

Peel Regional Police have issued a Canada-wide arrest warrant for a man accused of fatally shooting a woman at a Mississauga gas station after he intentionally went missing.
Officers responded to a report of a woman that had been shot in the area of Britannia and Creditview roads in Mississauga around 10:30 p.m. on Saturday.
Upon arrival, a woman was found suffering from gunshot wounds and was later pronounced dead. The victim was identified as 21-year-old Pawanpreet Kaur from Brampton.
Police say the person responsible for this fatal shooting is 30-year-old Dharam Singh Dhaliwal.
Investigators determined that Dharam intentionally went missing in September 2022 in a plot to murder Kaur.
Dharam Dhaliwal is described as South Asian, 170 lbs., five-foot-eight and has a tattoo on his left hand.

Officers say two family members were arrested in Moncton. New Brunswick.
Pritpal Dhaliwal, a 25-year-old man and Amarjit Dhaliwal, a 50-year-old woman were charged with accessory to murder after the fact.
Police say Dharam should not be approached as he is considered armed and dangerous.

Investigators say anyone found helping or harbouring Dhaliwal will be charged accordingly.
