Seth Rogen and Zac Efron brought their winning chemistry back to the frat house this May and helped make a worthy sequel to their 2014 hit Neighbors. Sorority Rising didn’t perform as well as the original at the box office ($55M vs. $150M) but the reviews were solid, and there’s already a set up for Neighbors 3 so maybe we’ll see more of Mac, Kelly, and Teddy in the future. The Blu-ray release features deleted scenes; a gag reel; featurettes like “Nu Neighbors”, “The Prodigal Bros Return”, “Girls Rule”, and “The Ultimate Tailgate”; and a commentary from director Nicholas Stoller and producer James Weaver.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows

Sticking with sequels, the rebooted Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles franchise got a second, much improved instalment this year. Classic characters make appearances including Bebop, Rocksteady, Krang, and hockey mask-wearing vigilante Casey Jones, appropriately played by Canuck actor Stephen Amell. Critics didn’t pull their punches in their reviews of the movie, but considering it’s targeted towards kids that didn’t affect its box office performance ($245M). Special features on the home video release include three deleted scenes, and six featurettes focusing on the new characters, the actors that play them, and lots more.
