Captain America: Civil War

Whether you call it Captain America 3 or The Avengers 2.5, Civil War was definitely one of the biggest films of the summer. Now the blockbuster heads to Blu-ray and DVD packed with Disney and Marvel’s usual helping of extra content. The disc features audio commentary from the film’s directors Anthony and Joe Russo, and writers Christopher Markus & Stephen McFeely; a two-part making-of featurette titled “United We Stand, Divided We Fall”; a sneak peek at Marvel’s upcoming release Doctor Strange; four deleted and extended scenes; and the customary gag reel.

Popstar: Never Stop Never Stopping

The Lonely Island brought their second feature film to theatres in June but the audiences didn’t follow and the film became one of the many Summer flops of the year. However, like their first feature Hot Rod, Popstar will likely find a bigger audience on streaming and home video. The Blu-ray release features a commentary from The Lonely Island members Akiva Schaffer, Jorma Taccone, and Andy Samberg that is bound to be funny, as well as deleted scenes, music videos for some of the songs in the film, interview outtakes, and a gag reel.
